Listed Building Consent

If you want to alter or extend a listed building in a way that affects its character or appearance as a building of special architectural or historic interest, or even demolish it, you must first apply for Listed Building Consent.

GSP can help advise as to whether consent is needed for what a client plans to do. GSP can then advise as to what aspects of a project might be acceptable and whether certain other aspects need to be adapted to make them more likely to succeed as part of any application, helping to save the client time and money.

As part of the application process GSP can help make the planning and heritage case for the works.
